This Close! is an Americana Roots Rock and Roll semi-acoustic quartet from the Santa Cruz Mountains. Formed from local bands since the late 90’s, this lineup consists of Quilted Fish Recording Artists* Pete Catizone and Rob Jenkins (Something Else), Jim Anderson (Acoustic Shadows, Redwood Boogie Band) and Michael Demers (Cabrillo Choir) all of whom have played a significant amount of shows in Santa Cruz, San Francisco Bay Area and Lake Tahoe. Opening up for such acts as Los Lobos, Taj Mahal, The North Mississippi Allstars, Zigaboo Modeliste, ALO and Dan Bern to name a few. They blend Roadhouse Rock and Roll with hints of Country, Folk and Swampers style funk into an acoustic/electric quartet that can really groove.
